How strange it is that when we are young those who are in authority over us seem so much older than we are but when we are older ourselves we realize they were not that much older than us. Benny Moore was one one the finest "older" men I ever knew. He knew when kindness and friendship was needed and also when it was time to be stern. I know that he lived his faith and was a powerful example of Christlike living to countless young people in his life. I am so sorry for the pain of loss his family and friends are feeling right now but I am confident that he is now experiencing a wondrous life in the presence of our dear Saviour.

Carol Moore (Benny's wife) was my grade school music teacher in school.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you Carol, as well as your family and friends who knew your husband so well. I'm so very sorry for your loss. The pain goes away but the scar is always there. God bless you and may he be of comfort to you during this time.

I’ve always thought of Benny and Carol in a special way because of the regard my parents had for them. I’m so, so sorry for your loss.

My sincere sympathy to Carol and the family. I can still see Benny standing in the hall at Springdale High School in the 70s. He was such a kind man and I know he will be greatly missed by his family and the members at Johnson.
