David was a friend and mentor . I always admired the way he could show civility even in adversarial matters . I know he will be greatly missed !! Q. Byrum Hurst
My heart and deepest sympathies go out to Sarah, Cambre and the rest of Horne family for the loss of David, a man whom I looked up to, respected, admired and trusted. David's light on earth may have dimmed, but I know it is bright and shinning above. David was a good man who touched the lives of many always with warmth, kindness and with a smile.
Cathy, my thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the days ahead. It was my privilege to work for David (and with you) while I lived in Arkansas. You are both great examples of loving, kind, caring and giving people. I was saddened by the news, but like you, glad David's suffering is over. Your family and friends who are nearby will want to help, so let them comfort you and care for you through the days ahead. Look forward to reunion day - it will be amazing! Love you.
David my friend, you provided so much good counsel to me and helped me see the bigger picture. I will always cherish the good times we had together. Thank you for being a true mentor and keeping me focused on what was and still remains important in life. Kathy, thank you for sharing Davids time with me. I owe you both so much. Love ya, John

I am saddened to learn of David's passing. He was such a good friend to my late husband and he and Cathy were both friends to me and my daughter. He will be sorely missed.
David was a fraternity brother and a great guy. Everyone liked David. So sorry for your loss.
David fought the good fight before going to be with the Father in Heaven! He will be missed and loved by his family and his many friends. There are so many good memories of our times with David and Cathy over the years.
Cathy, I am so so sorry to hear about David. I hope he did not suffer. I think about you often, and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. He was a great honorable man. Linda (I used to work for your dentist)
