Dear Ken and Sherri, Denise and David and families,

Bob and I are saddened to hear of Gayle's death. We are so sorry that we were out of town and unable to attend her memorial service. The first paper I opened upon our returned had her obituary. You did a fine job capturing her personality in a few words--her strength of character, her nurturing spirit and her lively sense of humor. I have fond memories of Gayle and Kennedy as newlyweds--as you probably know, she was my dad's first cousin and I was the flower girl in their wedding. And I have good memories of you, Ken and Denise, as my first young cousins. Gayle was so proud of you both and always had wonderful things to tell about you and your families, and I always looked forward to her stories of her summer travels with Kennedy before his death. Through the years it was always fun to see her around Fayetteville; she was so bright and cheerful and was active in the community. Her presence will be missed.

Our thoughts are with you as you cope with her passing. May your fond memories be a comfort to you.

I knew Gayle through my mother, Helen Bocquet. She was a wonderful friend to all who knew her. Though they were unable to visit each other for this last year, mother ask about her constantly and will miss her terribly. Two years ago when several members of our family were very sick, Gayle reached out to us though she was very ill also and when my favorite pet passed away, she sent a wonderful card. We were often on the receiving end of her cheerfulness and generosity. She will be missed.

Neecie and family,
I met your mom way back in Little Rock when we were ALL young, and I was captured by her joyful spirit. She never lost that spirit and never will. Not only is she with Jesus; you are so much like her that it will seem that she has not left. My prayers are with you all as you grieve your loss, but I know that you celebrate as well. It was a life well-lived, and because of her faith it is certainly "to be continued....."

What a blessing to know your sweet Mama (and amazing G.G.) and to feel her special love! She was such a beautiful reflection of God's love and she lived her life with His joy overflowing to all her family, friends and everyone who was blessed to ever know her vivacious, sweet spirit. Her acts of love and kindness touched so many hearts and lives and she will be so very missed...until we see her again one day in Heaven - thank you Jesus! She was truly an AMAZING woman - such an inspiration to me of relying on God's strength to live each day as He purposed and to love with a joy-filled heart! I thank God for her life and for the privilege of seeing her beautiful legacy of love passed on and lived out (with her special touch!) in the lives of her dear family! WOW what a wonderful person my frend Mrs Deaver was!!!! I hated the fact that I got to know her at the clinic where most of the time she did not feel well but she always had a smile and something pleasant to say and she always looked absolutly beautiful each and every time I saw her. What a lady with a positive attitude that spilled out to the other patients and to all the HOG employees as well. I will miss her greatly and I know her family will as well.

My thoughts and prayers go out to each one of you as you go through this time of sorrow.I know your hearts are hurting this morning as you prepare to put this sweet lady to rest but be assured that she is waiting for us and will be there waiting for us when we make our journey one day!!
