Dear Jack & Family,I was saddened to see the passing of Harriet. I remember fondly the last time I got to chat with Harriet was at the MHS Retirees' Dinner. She could always brighten my days with her warm Southern laughter and smile! There were numerous times throughout our years of working together at the School that Harriet helped me with a project or answered that question I did not know who else to ask. I will always remember how helpful Harriet was to all. Please know that I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.Love,
So sorry to hear about Harriet passing. We were childhood friends from way back in elementary school all the way through high school. She was always a very nice person and a good friend. We grew up together and played together as children living in the same neighborhood. She will be missed at our high school reunions. Bill Sanger

Mrs. Knopp was my housemother at Milton Hershey School. She was a tough lady, but she cared for all of her "boys" in Tuscarora. You will be missed. Thinking of you Mr. Knopp. Hope you are still smacking the hell out of those golf balls.
On Dec. 28, 2016, I boarded a tour bus not knowing a single soul. Harriet and Jack were among several couples who offered me kindness and friendship. My memories are filled with Harriet's sweet smile and fun stories of their time at Hershey and her laughter when Jack would tease me. My deepest sympathies go out to the family and those who knew her well. I wish I could have known her longer, but I am excited that I will see her again in heaven.
