Justine and Creed. Really hated to hear that Doc had passed. He was three years older than me so I didn't know him in our early days. However his father was my grade school principal and fifth grade teacher. Maybe my favorite. Got to know Doc after he enrolled at Arkansas Tech the same year that I did. And we graduated the same year. He was my first stockbroker but he was also a friend. Got to know him better after I moved to Fayetteville. He is missed by many. Unforgettable smile and laugh. Justine & Creed, Sue and I are so sorry to hear this news of Doc’s passing. When I joined AG Edwards in 1976, Doc was a kind and patient mentor, and I benefited greatly from his help. In the late 1970's Doc was my stockbroker while I was in graduate school. He ,of course, was more than that: he explained the markets in a way that brought the companies to life, his explanations of how business worked was as exciting as any course I was taking at the time, and I made money! His energy was an inspiration to me but he took time to explain to me why companies were good or not so good, even though I was just a poor graduate student.
