When I saw the picture of Uncle John with his pipe in hand, it brought back a lot of memories. I could almost see him sitting in our house, telling many stories. God bless him and his family.

The best memories I have of my grandpa are when we went down to his house. I remember when we went down to his house this one time and we all went down to the creek,we came back soaked. There was a couple of times when he would fart and he would say, ''did you hear that shotgun.'' He would tell us that we could watch T.V.,but there was only three channels and there would always be news on. he would always tell us stories about him being in the Navy. Those were the best memories I have of him.
                             Lots of love ,

MY BEST MEMEORIES ABOUT MY GRANDPA IS WE WOULD GO TO HIS HOUSE ABOUT 2-3 TIMES A YEAR AND VISIT HIM AND HE WOULD TAKE US DOWN TO HIS GARDEN AND WE WOULD HELP HIM PICK VEGIES. IT WAS A BLAST WHEN WE WOULD GO DOWN TO THE CREEK WITH HIM. AND THE BESTEST MEMORY I HAVE OF HIM IS WHEN WE WOULD GO TO HIS HOUSE AND HE WOULD MAKE HIS SALSA AND IT WAS REALLY HOT AND NO ONE COULD TAKE IT. AND I REMEMBER WHEN HE WOULD TELL US STORIES ABOUT HIM AND MY FATHER. THEY WERE REALLY FUNNY!!!!!GRANDPA YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR THOUGHTS AND MEMORIES...
                               LUV ALWAYS

It's been almost 30 years since I saw Uncle John, but we continued to exchange Christmas greeting every year. I do have some memories (and a bunch of photos) from when I visited the farm with my mom and dad aver 40 years ago. May God Bless You, Uncle John.
My father never met a stranger. He was always ready to talk and talk he could. He always had a story to tell.
He will be always missed in our hearts. May god always be with you.
With love,
Your son Thomas
Sending heartfelt sympathy. May you be at peace with our Lord and his Blessed Mother.

I only met him once, when he visited Philadelphia for Aunt Helen's funeral. I was probably 15 years old. Uncle Johnny who moved to a beautiful farm in Arkansas' Ozark mountains and even had an Indian living on his property! As a young teenager, I was fasinated listening to his stories then as well as hearing them from my aunts and mother of his adventurous life.
I will remember him in my thoughts and prayers.
