South Haven Baptist Church has lost a faithful and treasured member. Fond memories: Kay always asked me to play more organ anthems and she was the sole representative of the Coast Guard for our 4th of July celebrations. Thoughts and prayers.
My name is Janet Johnson, and I'm writing for my mom, Dottie George, who was a dear friend of Kay's from South Haven Baptist Church. Kay was a wonderful friend, faithful, and a real servant. She was greatly respected as she quietly served. My mom loved her dearly. May God comfort you in your loss.

We worshiped with Kay at South Haven. She was a delight and blessing to all who knew her. We enjoyed her beautiful voice in the choir. We also spent weeks on bus tours together. When you are on a bus with someone for two weeks you either love them or want to forget them. We all loved her. She spoke lovingly of her family. We were also proud of her service in the Coast Guard for our country. She lives on in our heart.

I was Kay's pastor for many years. She was a lovely Christian, and made many friends in our church. She was active in ministries, sang in the choir, and was helpful in many other ways. She will be missed by my wife, Betty, and me.
My deepest sympathy to the family in this time of loss.
Kay was a great lady, a wonderful Christian and friend. We will miss her in our Sunday School Class and Church. She was so faithful. We all love her and will miss her so much. She was one of six who ate out together on Sundays after church.

It was always a pleasure to see Kay when we'd check in at Meals on Wheels on Tuesdays. She was such a gentle, sweet lady, with a smile and kind words to share. We have missed her over the past weeks, and will continue to do so. Our sympathies to the family.
Kay will be greatly missed in our neighborhood. We'll miss lookig out and seeing her working in her yard.
