To the Family of Mary Alfrey,I worked with Mary at Cedar Valley Hospice from the time I started. She was always energetic and very helpful to me. Thinking of you in the weeks and months to come, she will be missed by many here.
So sorry to learn of Mary's death. I served as a Cedar Valley Ambassador with her for several years. Mary was so nice and a huge supporter and cheerleader for our community. God bless Mary and her family.
When I think of Mary I have to smile...she made everyone feel they were special and were valued. She gave me confidence in all I did and with all I accomplished in my life. A true friend I Loved and will always Love.
I have nothing but fond memories of Mary. She was a good person and a great friend. She always had a smile and I will miss her. My prayers are with her family.
I just want to say that Mary always had a smile and an encouraging word. There were times when I needed an encouraging word and Mary seemed to know what to say. I will remember her fondly.

Mary's loved ones,I was a junior high friend of Marys. What a lovely, funny, kind lady. I have many fond memories of slumber parties and just goofy girl stuff. Mary had that darling dimpled smile I can still see. Love and Peace to your family.
So sorry for the lost of your mother and daughter! I have very fond memories of Mary from the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier. She would light up the department every time she walked in. Please know that you have been in my thoughts and prayers as you go thru this very difficult time.
