Michelle is my sweet, funny little cousin forever. I’m much older than Michelle, but I remember her as the silly, fun little cousin that would visit in the Summertime for the family reunion. She always reminded me so much of her Grandma; my Aunt Gladys.
There was never a dull moment when Michelle was around. She had a zest for life that was very contagious, a sense of humor that would keep you in tears rolling on the floor, and a true concern for everyone. Anytime she and I would sing together, I was notorious for not remembering the words, she would bust out laughing and help me just make up words. I will miss those precious moments, but know someday we will sing together again and know all the lyrics to the songs. Rest peaceful my friend and keep on shining that bright light!
Michelle was always a bright light and I know she still is.
