Virginia Nell Casey Tuck, age 90, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday May 18, 2021. She was born July 22, 1930, in Fayetteville, daughter of John Edmond Casey and Virginia Clyde Eagle Casey. She was preceded in death by Read Obituary
My parents Leo and Mildred were friends of Jack and Nell and introduced me to them. Jack and Nell both always made my little boy feel included too. Nell had such a sweet heart. She never wavered in her treatment of people, and her warm smile and joy in conversation will be missed by many of us.
As a young boy, I grew up down the street from Jack on Austin Dr. He was so friendly and would entertain me. I remember his Mustang! I also remember when he introduced me to his future wife Nell, and I remember going with them to her house to "help" them move her to his home after they were married! Nell was so sweet and welcoming to this neighborhood boy! They were both so kind and endearing. As an adult, I saw them at the Village Inn 15-20 years ago and went to introduce myself. They said "We remember you and always wondered how you turned out!" Such beautiful people! John 14:1-14
Loved Nell Tuck, and her husband. Both were "salt of the Earth". Just a joy to see them, talk to them, know them. I will miss them both.
I met Nell & Jack almost 18 years ago and I fell in love with them both right then & there! Jack with that ornery twinkle in his eye and Nell calling me hun which I adored! Even though they married late in life, they were meant for each other and what a loving couple they were! I shall miss them both but I know they had the most wonderful reunion in heaven and some day, I'll get to see them again! Miss you already!
I worked with Nell for many years at SWEPCO. She was a delight to be around and talk to. Very caring and very thoughtful to everyone. So sorry for your loss. She was special as I know you are well aware. Bless your family.

Nell was a beautiful lady! Always sharing her kisses, her hugs and her love. My memories are of she and Jack, wonderful examples of true love.
I remember one time that Nell and Jack were in Dallas visiting Susy and J. Susy loved to shop and one day the three of us went to the Mall together. Nell and Jack were always frugal so I was surprised to see Nell purchasing a new blouse. She saw my surprise and, with a glint in her eyes, told me that what happens in the Mall stays at the Mall. And that was why I would be carrying that bag into Susy’s house. What happens in the Mall stays in the Mall, Nell was full of surprises and lots of laughs!

still lived on farm. I believe Jack/Nell had just gotten married. I was causing trouble, as usual. When we were leaving, Nell told Mom that she would pray for her.....Ouch! Plus
I could ALWAYS count on getting deodorant for Christmas and Birthdays! That wasn't a bad thing as I wouldn't buy/get it otherwise.
What comes to mind when I FIRST think about Nell is how kind, sweet, and polite she was. What comes to mind SECOND is how much fun she was when she'd had a margarita or two! When she came into Jack's life, we all knew he had met his life partner, what a fit they were! Getting the two of them, along with Susy and Charles, together and the laughter was endless! One of my most fond memories of her was a family birthday gathering at a mexican restaurant decades ago, and that is when I discovered the "Margarita Nell" as I called her! It was always a pleasure to take her to Chili's Restaurant and share Southwest egg rolls and Margarita's! Nell taught me her recipe for sweet potato casserole one Thanksgiving, and my family has enjoyed it every Thanksgiving since! There is not a time that I make it that I don't and won't think of her! Sweet Nell, my family and I will miss you!
