While hunting with Randall and Larry, we had all made our way back to camp and had learned that Larry had fired his flint lock .45 cal rifle at a deer and missed. Larry’s flint lock had a very long barrel. Randall looked around till he found tape measure and measured the barrel then proceeded to tell Larry that the reason he missed was the fact that the barrel was too long and by the time the bullet got to the end of the barrel it was tired, if he would go back to where he had fired the rifle from the bullet was probably laying there on the ground.
The world was a better place with Randall in it. A great Christian and friend I will miss Randall very much.
