Rita's family...I went to Chanute High School with Rita Rae (as she was called then; double-dated a time or two with her (and Harvey - as he was called then.) Also in a junior college play with her. She was a fun person then...and from the sounds of Guest Book entries, remained that way. Sorry to learn of her death.
Mom,I miss you every minute. I am selfish because I wish you were here fishing with me. Thank you for the extra nine months you gave to me. I saw and loved a different side of you during that time together, but I will remember you as you were trying to get the leaves out of my hair, taking me shopping, fishing long after dark with me, and me looking up to you; the strongest person I'll ever know. Thank you for being the best friend my son could have. Mason sends his love and will hold tightly onto the great adventures you shared. You will always be my sunshine. That way, I get to see you every day.Forever your daughter,Lesa ?
Rita helped me through my first deposition. She was always a sweetheart. Just a pleasure to be around. Rest in love, Rita.
Aunt Rita Rey, you and I were always very close. We both sensed it. You have such a bright Spirit. Looking forward to seeing You in Heaven.
I am proud to be Rita Rae's niece. Rita had a wonderful energy and was funny and smart. People loved to be around her. She was a special woman. I love you Rita Rae.
I could always count on enjoying a deposition when Rita was the court reporter. Her beautiful smile and spirit will be missed so much.
Rita was a good friend and colleague. She reported my first jury trial and later was my court reporter.
Rita was the court reporter for my first jury trial and many more after that. She very much helped a young prosecutor still wet behind the ears. She was a funny and intelligent woman whom I dearly enjoyed talking with as we waited for many a jury to return with a verdict. Rest in Peace sweet lady.
When I was a young lawyer I always could count on Rita to disclose Judge Cummings disposition --which was important. She was a true friend to most of the attorneys in this area and will be greatly missed. What a smile she had!.
