I was sad to hear of Roys passing. I thought of all the visits that we have had and what a joy it was to have known him. He was a very important part of life in Portland and he was missed when you moved to Fayetteville. I hope that memories of the good times will help at this most difficult time. You all will be in our prayers.
I had the honor of being one of Mr. Tarvins caregivers at the Veterens Home. I never heard Mr. Tarvin speak a cross word or complain. His smile was always a bright spot in my work day. I hope in my small way, my care reflected my appreciation of his military and community service to our country. He was a great man and will be missed. My sincere condolences to your family.
