Shirley L. Clark, age 84, of Fayetteville, AR, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020. She was born November 3, 1935, in Shreveport, LA, a daughter of the late Houston Leffall and Abbie B. Turner Leffall. Shirley was the widow of Read Obituary
When Shirley and my Uncle Lent got married, Walter and I were living with my grandparents and them. Over the years Aunt Shirley and I had many telephone conversations. Those I will miss. I have lit a candle in memory of Aunt Shirley.

We have lost a precious jewel. Words can not express how saddened our hearts are to hear of Shirley’s passing. She was an “Amazing Woman”. She was such joy to be around each time she came to Marshall. We are praying that God give you strength in the days ahead. We are so happy to have had her as part of our lives.

Shirley was a favorite of mine when I was married to her nephew Emerson Holliday. We use to live with she and Uncle Lent while we attended Texas Southern University. Shirley was loved by the Texas University staff as well. Katie Holliday.. Las Vegas NV.

Back in the days gone by, when I spent time with Shirley in what we called the "Big Day in Marshall, was one of the best times of my life with her. I always enjoyed my time with her when I visited her in Houston and the many phone conversations we had when she lived in Arkansas.
Shirley was a fun-loving cousin that I will truly miss. Nevertheless, I knew she was ready to be with her beloved Lent and Tyrone. Until we meet again, my the Lord give you peace and comfort in your time of need.
