Dear Celine, Sam and Clementine,We are so sorry for your loss. We knew Solomon through our 13 year old son. We live in the same neighborhood as your family and in the summers, Solomon and his friends would play music in the lawn of the house at the end of our street overlooking Wilson Park. The young neighborhood kids would gravitate towards the music and our son would come home with stories of how Solomon would teach him to play guitar, he was so kind, talking to the younger kids and making them feel included. He had such a positive impact on an impressionable young boy. Our whole family are so heartbroken with the news of his passing and we can't even imagine your pain. I'll always remember Solomon as a young 8 year old boy in my classroom with a wonderful smile and expressive blue eyes! He was so creative and artistic. Even in third grade, he was the life of the party! He had such enthusiasm for life and I will hold onto all of the precious memories of him. Please know, Celine, Sam, and Clementine, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Solomon was friends with my son Curren. He used to come to the house and play music with him and other friends. He was always so nice when we saw him at The Farmer's Market. My daughter McKenna worked at Coco's and always enjoyed the times Solomon would come and play. My heart and prayers go out to the family. You raised an exceptional young man who left a beautiful legacy to this community. I pray God will comfort you and heal your broken hearts.
Solomon is fixed in my mind as a seventh-grader at Holt--quiet in a confident way,smart, humble, kind. His vitality was catching. The only comfort I know to offer is from God-- He promises to draw near to us when we draw near to Him. I am sorry for your loss. Sincerely,
