Hello, I didn’t know Mr. Meroney, but I’ve worn a missing in action bracelet with his name on it since I was a 20 something. Today, I learned that his personal things had been found and brought home, when I visited a scale replica of the wall. God bless you all.- Carla Lampkin Harvieux
My thoughts are with you for such a long wait in returning your loving family member back home where he belongs at last. I have worn his POW/MIA bracelet for many years and am proud that I can say I knew Virgil in some small way.

It is with a mixture of joy, and sorrow that I welcome you home. I didn't know you, but knew of you. I was a student at West Campus Technical Center where Connie was a teacher. She would speak of you from time to time, and how you were lost. One of the last conversations we had before I graduated was if/when you would come home. I promised her as time marched on and technology improved you would be found. Although she didn't live to see this day, I know you were waiting for her as she waited for you.
