Jack Buffington
I graduated in 1961 but Bill taught me when he was a graduate student in civil engineering. I went on to become Chief of Engineers for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command and Head of the Navy Seabees as a Rear Admiral, CEC, USN. I owe many of the professors I had at Arkansas and certainly Bill was a super environmental teacher as a graduate student that many of us owe a lot to for his guidance. He had a great career as a professor and role model for thousands of students. His family has to be very proud of his record. Jack Buffington.
