My sincerest condolences to the family of this great gentleman, professor, mentor, and inspiration. He was my greatest professor and advisor so many years ago at NGC. Greatly admired, he will always be fondly remembered and loved.--Wesley Greer, NGC class of 1984
I joined North Georgia College's faculty at about the time that Guy Oliver was retiring. But, fortunately for me, we had a few occasions to chat. Dr. Oliver was a gentleman, and I have always appreciated the opportunity to get to know him. I am very sad to discover that he has passed away and I express my heartfelt sympathy to his family.
Please accept my condolences to Dr. Oliver's family. He was our beloved professor at North Georgia College more than 50 years ago, and he served as host to many wine tastings at our reunions over the years. We appreciated his genius and gregarious personality. May he rest in peace.
