Gary was my very friend when I came to university of Arkansas as a foreign student from Korea. He was my supervisor at department of continuing education. He taught me how to become an American. He invited me to his home for my first thanksgiving dinner in 1981. Thank you for that Gary and Sharon. I will not forget you and your family as my first American friend. Rest in peace.

Growing up, being a good friend of Laura's, Gary was always just Gary. He would do silly impersonations, accents, and do anything to make us laugh. He would always ask how you were and cared.
