Doyle Meadors

Doyle Thomas Meadors, age 75, of Hindsville, AR, departed from this life Tuesday, March 9, 2021. He was born December 21, 1945, in Winslow, AR, a son of the late Clayton Meadors and Helen McGinnis Meadors. Also preceding him in death was a brother, Marshall Meadors; sisters, Justine Meadors, Joy Holeman and Doreen Drummond. Doyle was the former owner and operator of Meadors Truck & Van Salvage for 35 years and attended The House of Worship. He was an enthusiast of classic automobiles, loved traveling and vacationing with Christy, his love of attending flea markets and finding antiques was only surpassed by playing the slot machines. The family sends out a special thanks to Dr. Bruce DeYoung and his staff. Survivors are his wife, Christy Meadors who he married July 22, 2006; his sons, Tommy Meadors, Bruce Meadors, Jamie Parker; a daughter, Lisa White; a step son, Cody Swafford; a brother, Dennis Meadors (Patricia); a sister, Francine Birchfield; his furry friend, Ginger; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at Nelson Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Private family service will be held at Nelson Berna Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery at Winslow at approximately 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 15. Memorials are preferred to, The House of Worship, 22174 Highway 303, Hindsville, AR, 72738.
