Uncle Joe always had a wicked funny sense of humor. I recall sitting on the front porch with him and aunt Janie as he told numerous jokes and stories. He then told several about "his wife" quite quietly and then laughed quite loudly. He then let me in on the secret that aunt janie couldn't hear his joke because she was hard of hearing. lol He told several wife jokes quietly. He was a corker.

He was my stepfather. I use to spend time with him hunting fishing or just out driving around. I will truly miss him.
IF I AM NOT MISTAKEN, JOE AND HIS BROTHER FRANKIE WORKED WITH THEIR DAD BUILDING THE OLD ARMORY BY THE COURTHOUSE, NATURAL STONE MASON. I REMEMBER VISITING WITH FRANKIE AND HIS TELLING US STORIES, BETWEEN PLAYING HIS FIDDLE... THE FAMILY WERE ALL RESPECTED AND LOVED. DAYS GONE BY NOW, FEW LEFT TO REMEMBER THEM...I STILL DO.
