John David Quick, age 80, passed away February 3, 2021 in Rogers. He was born February 14, 1940 in Mineral Springs, Missouri to Ralph Sidney and Etries Quick. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Jefferey Quick, three brothers; Bob, Jim, and Bill Quick, and sisters; Betty Williams and Jane Coffey. John graduated from Exeter High School in Exeter, Missouri in 1958. He joined the United States Army in 1959. After his time in the military John worked at Rogers Wood Prod., EFCO Aluminum, Cassville IGA, Gene’s IGA, Southland Supply, Acme Janitorial Supply, and later his own business, Dave’s Cleaning Service. John loved to hunt, fish, and being outdoors. He enjoyed watching football games. John was also a member of the Exeter Baptist Church. John is survived by his loving wife Janice (Crawford) Quick. They were married March 15th, 1962. Son Jamey Quick, grandchildren; Josh, Kayla, and Rylee Quick, great-grandchildren; Jaden and Jace Quick, brothers; Dale Quick of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Rick Quick of Monett, Missouri, sisters; Bonnie Magness of Port Orchard, Washington, Sue Holland of Buena Park, California, and several nieces and nephews.
