I had the pleasure of knowing Margaret for many years, I first met her in 1998 when I moved to Springdale, AR. In 2004 I joined her working as a PBX operator for many years, we used to laugh about how she had watched me grow up… as I was not the same employee I once was as I matured over the years in my work ethic and in life. She would just smile so big and tell me that I was a joy to work with and how much it meant to her to be a part of my life. She loved seeing pictures of my son and was tickled pink when I just placed him in her arms one day, because she was too bashful to ask to hold him as a newborn. Her love was genuine and strong, and anyone that knew her felt that sincerity in all she did. It was rare to get her to talk about herself, because she wanted to know how everyone else was doing around her, ensuring their needs were met first and that they were okay. I loved laughing with her and sharing stories when we did, her laugh was contagious and when you got her laughing you couldn’t help but be in one of the happiest moments and time stood still for a moment. I will miss Margaret dearly, but I am so grateful for all the wisdom and happiness I have gained from knowing her all these years. I will always look up to Margaret and aspire to be more like her in all I do, she was a peaceful, kind, and wonderful person whom I am so thankful to have called my friend. Rebecca, may this little glimpse bring you and your family happiness like your mother brought to my life, I loved Margaret like a mother she was family, my prayers and condolences go out to you and your family during this time.
