It's actually hard to write a "condolence" about this wonderful man of God. For although we all grieve this loss of a loved one, friend, neighbor and fellow pilgrim, we are filled with joy at Roy's long anticipated face-to-face welcome from his Savior! I keep trying to imagine all he is seeing and experiencing, who he's chatting with as they walk, and what choice wine he may be sipping at the banquet table. Betty, I have shared with you already that everytime I try to imagine it all, it makes me long to be there, rather than wishing we had Roy back here.

Roy has had such an impact on so very many people. I am just one of them. And life is richer because God allowed our paths to cross. As I promised, I will do my best to share my story, JESUS' story, as readily and enthusiastically as Roy did.

I can only imagine...

Our hearts are heavy for the family. I was blessed to have had Roy work with me at the hotel that my family operated in Bentonville. Roy was such a mentor and I shared some amazing times with him as a friend. Peace and healing to the family.
