Wayne was such a hardworking, fun loving man and Don and I were able to enjoy the company of he and Margy for many years. I loved watching them dance and know he is dancing in heaven now.
My condolences to the Carlson Family. Wayne and my father coached my little league baseball team the Pirates. Next to my father, there was not another man i looked up to more than Wayne Carlson. With his positive energy and coaching methods I learned more about baseball and life than he ever thought possible. I can only wish I could have spent more of my adult life around him to absorb just a portion of the positive charisma he possessed. We have lost a true leader of men but my memory of Wayne will remain with me forever. Thank You Wayne Carlson !
Working for Wayne & Margy for almost 20 years, they felt like my family. Such a great boss too. Christmas being a favorite time to show how much he cared for his people, he & Margy would bring loads of presents to be wrapped & given to all the employees. I'll miss his great smile & hugs. Such a great life & legacy.
My Mom had a newspaper route and The Carlson's were customers, i always will remember he gave her 'something extra' every Christmas .. he knew what it was like having a paper route himself. RIP Mr. Carlson. My sympathy to all the family
