I have always had a sweet spot for this man. My husband and I met him in the early sixties when we were just teenagers in love. We didn’t have money for a ring and he knew it, but he treated us with the utmost courtesy and taught us all about diamonds. RIP, my friend. Yours was a life well lived.

A life well lived!! I worked in the Underwood building at Clyde Campbell Menswear from 1971-73. I saw Mr. Underwood frequently since he would do business with Clyde Campbell's. He also helped me when I purchased my wife's engagement ring. I am glad that I got to know him. May he rest in peace.
