Ben was a great man it's so hard to lose a loved one even thou Ben is in a better place its still difficult. When times get hard just remember all the great memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Ben, we have been the best of neighbors and friends for over 15 years. You have watch my daughter grow from the age of 5. She will be 21 this year. I'm sorry that we are so far away right now, but you will always close in our hearts. I will truly miss our college football bets for either $1 or chicken wings. Our prayers are with Janet and the rest of the family.
My heart was broken to hear that Ben had passed away. He worked for my dad (Paul Jones) in Grainola OK during haying seasons around the late '50's and I think he lived with us for a while. He and my dad were best buds--with the same gift of storytelling and humor. I had a major crush on this handsome, funny, playful, witty, big kid. Only recently I connected with him on Facebook and he shared stories of my family with me and I laughed again with him some 50 years later. I was planning on going to see him in April, but fate chose for that not to happen. It may sound strange to say that Ben was a major part of my childhood when I only knew him for such a short while, but he WAS. My sincerest condolences go out to his family.

Ben & I reconnected a few years ago, after being out of touch for some 70 years. I enjoyed our conversations, and meeting his lovely wife. I know he leaves a LARGE empty place in all his family's collective hearts....as well as mine.
