Betty Jane McMurtry, 63, of Bella Vista, AR went home to be with the Lord on June 18, 2013 in Bentonville, AR after a courageous battle with melanoma. Family surrounded her when she peacefully passed on Tuesday evening. Betty Jan Read Obituary
I remember BJ from when she was 17 and I was barely 15 - she was my "idol"! Through the years, she became my friend and my feelings turned into respect and admiration. Her family is a powerful legacy to who she was...My sympathy is with each of you through this transition - knowing and loving her in the flesh to knowing and loving her in the Spirit.
Betty will always be in our thoughts. Her wonderful laugh always made our Farkel games a true delight.. We all send our prayers.
