I knew him as a true friend who gave of himself and never asked or expected anything in return. He was genuine and he loved life and you liked him as soon as you met him. It would not take long and you would love him as a dear friend before long.
For as long as I have know Charlie, everytime I think of him, I smile. Even at the time of his death, I cry because his is no longer on earth with us, but I also smile and can even laugh at the good memories I have of him; and there are many. I am so thankful for his friendship. He will be missed by all that knew him, but I know he is looking down on us all and he will be eternally happy in his heavenly home.
Charlie, Thanks for the memories
My deepest condolences to Butch, Betty and kids. I know how this time of life is hard to go through but I know that there is a brighter tomorrow. You all have my friendship, support and prayers.
God bless you.

We will miss Charley. His upbeat outlook on life, in spite of his disability, always made those around him feel better. His time in this world had many struggles, but he seemed to cope with them to the best of his ability (with lots of love and help from Maryellen). God keep him now and ever.
