Everette and Carol were my family’s neighbors since 1963, when we moved just up the road from them. All the Rosebeary’s and my dad and mom, Chester and Lorene Stevens, remained best friends and neighbors all these years. Everette always said he was so glad when I married my husband, because he’d get to watch the weather again. When my husband was in high school, he had a souped-up Chevy motor that made the Rosebeary’s TV roll until he drove on down the road. Wayne had to leave my house every night at 10, so by the time he got up the road to Everette and Carol’s house it was weather time. Our families have so many good memories and shared sorrows, and Everette will be missed by everybody that knew him. Good friends and good neighbors are a treasure, and my family had both in the Rosebeary’s. We will be praying for your family.
