Connie, news of Frank's passing came as a terribly sad shock. I am so sorry for your loss. As a boy, Frank's arrival from Holly Grove with his good humor and fun-loving character quickly landed him a place in a gang of us that grew up around the City Park; Jackie Henbest, Carie Buckley, Mike McFerran and Steve Duvall. Those truly were the very best of the good old days, as we careened through our boyhood years in an American reality somewhere between Norman Rockwell and Tom Sawyer. We fished, camped, overnighted at each other's houses, sold peanuts at Razorback games, ruled the town on our one speed bikes, played sandlot sports of every kind, and got in all kinds of trouble I won't mention here. No one could take from any of us the memories of those wonder years. As we reached the teenage years, our paths diverged, but over the years, I was always so happy to run into Frank, we'd grin at each other and immediately know we were sharing the memory and warmth of those wonderful good times, laugh as we would sometimes recount one of the more memorable escapades, inquire earnestly of how the other was doing, and then go our own ways until we met again in a month, or year, or longer. We were friends from a bond that was too strong to fade. Frank was a great guy. I am sure he was a great husband, and a great father. We will all miss him. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Dear Connie and family---what a deep shock to learn of Frank's death. Jim and I are so very sorry. You two have been dear neighbors for 27 years, and it will forever seem strange to know Frank is no longer near-by to help out whenever we may call on him. When I last talked to him, I was so happy to know he'd retired and was looking forward to more time for family and fun. Jim and I are both sick or we'd be at the church to see you today. Dear Connie,I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of Frank. Although we didn't see each other often, I have always felt a close bond to Frank. Fond memories of the two of us trapsing through the fields outside Holly Grove and playing in the river when we would visit in the summers. I will see you tomorrow.

When I was in business Frank and his mother answered my phone for a number of years. I thought a lot of Frank and thought of him as a very high standard individual. He will be missed by ever one that knew him. May god comfort the hearts of his family.
