Worked with George at the U of A and shared a lot of laughs with him there, especially about seeing him zipping around town in his little Geo Metro. Sincerest sympathy to his family.

Mary & Jeanette...My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of George. Couldn't help but remember our high school "band days" and all the fun we used to have! He was one special guy! Know that you and your families are in my prayers!
Our thoughts are with you during this time.

I knew George many years ago as part of the Arkansas museum community, both from Old Washington and the Fort Smith museum. He was a wonderful man and enriched my life. My condolences to his family.
George was a good friend in high school. Always had a great smile and I enjoy being around him. I will miss a good friend and OLD buddy.
George and I graduatd high school and joined the marine corps , went to boot camp and served in Viet Nam. Last I heard he had been wounded. Semper fidelis and see you on the other side brother.
I have many fond childhood memories of George. He was a great friend to my late brother, Rick.
We were shocked and saddened to learn of George's passing. He was such a sweet, gentle soul; and we always enjoyed being around him. We'll be praying for his many friends and loved ones during this difficult time.
Peace be with you, George.
