Jimmy 'Jim' Taylor's Obituary
Jimmy ?Jim? Taylor, 72 of Bentonville, AR passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in Springdale, AR. He was born May 25, 1938 in Gates, TN to Laney Roy Taylor and Fannie Maybell (Floyd) Taylor.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of First Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. He loved NASCAR, old cars and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife; Jo Taylor, four sons; Darrell Lee Taylor and Robert Allen Taylor of CA, Greg Garner and wife Denise of Fayetteville, AR, mark Garner and wife Gail of Fayetteville, AR, two daughters; Kathy Lynn Taylor of CA, Cindy Cox and husband Monty of Fayetteville, AR, two sisters; Carolyn Jeanette Taylor and Rose Marie Raye of TN, one brother; Jerry Taylor of NC, thirteen grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 19, 2011 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverend Dennis Green officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until service time.
