Bonnie & Family,I worked for Joe at Tyson Foods and had the utmost respect for Joe as he epitomized being a father and a family man. I remember playing softball with Joe at Tyson Foods team and my thoughts of Joe are basically how he lived life, "Always swinging for the fence". Joe expected you to be what he gave, "the best". He always tried to get everyone to give their best at work and at home. Joe loved everyone and expected that of each of us. Joe was definitely a role model and a mentor.We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers and know that he is watching over each of us. I was very sad to hear about Joe's passing. I was buddies with Joe in high school and played football with him. Joe was a big guy and an awesome football player but always unassuming and a quite leader. He was always there for his friends.

Maryanne, I do not have any words. Losing a child is obviously the most difficult emotion that can ever enter ones heart. I am so sorry since the loss of your beloved Joe, and now this. I cannot imagine your pain or the pain of his family. Just want you too know you are in my thoughts and prayers, every day.. Please come visit. I would welcome seeing you again. You and Joe made visiting a wonderful event. I will always remember your travel videos. I only know that your wonderful spirit will help you through this. I know there is nothing I can say or do to make it any better, but know you are always welcome in my home anytime. Again, I am sorry beyond words. May the Lord give you peace forever.
