Sending prayers your way for peace and comfort.
Gus was a wonderful woman and will truly be missed. My prayers are with you and your family during this time of loss.
Gus will always be in our memory. Like Fay she was great person. She loved her girls and Fay with all her being. It is sad that she is gone, but she is with Fay now. I know they will be busy, they have so much to give.Gus was just the greatest. Fay took care of the all projects. Gus made sure the lights stayed on at the office. They were a great team.
With great sympathy in the loss of a dear friend. I regret that my health prevents me from attending the service.
Janis and Cami,So sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. Both of your parents were very special people and I feel blessed to have known them.Makii Atha Watson
Very sad news. Gus and Fay were special people. Of course, Fay was so gifted and successful, but Gus was the support behind the man. When I worked for Fay they considered the studio guys part of their extended family. She kept the books and paid the bills and made the office work. They were very close. I really think of both of them when I think of Fay and his work.
Gus and Fay were wonderful people. So sorry.
While I have not met Mrs. Jones personally or had the pleasure of knowing her, I am very familiar with her husband Fay. As an architect and former El Dorado, AR resident; I like many have often admired Fay Jones for his accomplishments, service to our country in time of war, and his legacy. His contributions to architecture and the state of Arkansas are unsurpassed. With that said, it's quite obvious to me that a strong wife was there to support and help her husband achieve those accomplishments. In my mind, this makes her an important contributor and great influence on this state's history and the architectural profession. They say "behind every strong man is a strong woman". I feel this clearly applies here. I am deeply sorry to hear of this great loss within your family and my heart goes out to you and your family at this time. My dearest sympathies & condolences,Jason B. Adams, AIA, NCARBArchitect - Rogers, AR
