I knew Jan from Temple High School and loved his kind and gentle ways. His passing took me back to many wonderful times spent together as friends. I am reminded of the scene in "It's a Wonderful Life" when the tinkling of the Christmas bell signaled that another angel had gotten its wings. That bell rang again for Jan as he passed into Eternity and received his angel's wings. He was an angel among us but now has the wings to prove what everyone already knew.Rest in peace, Jan.
We had the pleasure of knowing Rick for over 16 years. He will be missed. Our prayers go out to the family.
Rick was one of the good guys, and I am so very sorry for your loss. God must have needed him for something. Occasionally I would hear from him, and it was such a joy. I am not sure how long I have know Rick, but long enough to know what a good person he was. Rick was a great friend to my brother, Jim Sharkey, and I will always love him for that. Although some of us did not know Rick, except maybe to say hello as we arrived and left Razorback Stadium, we morn the passing of any of our fellow UA Ushers. So sorry for his family's loss. Rick will be missed.

In everything that she does, let her do it for Your glory and reward her for her faithfulness with Your Peace, Your Love, and Your Hope. Be with her as she goes about this day. Our thoughts and prayers are with you two today. We can see his lil' snurk when he did something cute. His love of the Lord was truly a blessing to His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
