I am writing on behalf of Christopher Newell who was a friend of Tanner's in Austin. As Chris' father, I knew Tanner having been with him and Chris on a few occasions. Tanner always impressed me as one of those kind sweet souls and way about him that made you feel good in his presence. He was Chris' best friend in Austin and his life is fuller for it. Our deepest heartfelt sympathies go to his family. His memory will be with us forever.

Although gone too soon, I know Tanner lived each day to the fullest. I always loved when Nancy would tell me the latest Tanner story, she always had a giggle in her voice and end it with, he's my buddy. I know the giggles have been replaced with tears at this time, but as we know time will help heal and the giggles will return with each memory. Whenever I was around Tanner with Doug and Nancy you could feel the love and respect he had for his parents. Heaven must have needed a strong, young man, they got one of the "good ones".

Nancy & Doug...My heart breaks for you and your family. Tanner was always such a polite young man and just a pleasure to be around. Cole and all of those guys are just heartbroken.
