All my best to the Sekiguchi family. I enjoyed and admired your father so much and know the deep love your family feels for each other. The memories you share together are dear and wonderful and you are all so blessed to have had him at the head of your table. Many big hugs to you all, especially Chiko who lives from love. She will miss him most of all. Sincerely and with great respect, Cindy
I hiked many times with Ted in Ozark Society. It was always great to see how he kept up with the rest of the group even though he was the senior member of the group. He truly loved the outdoors.
Ted loved to sit back and reflect. He enjoyed being with people. It will be a loss to know that Ted will no longer join us on our hikes.
Ted was always a fun person to be around. He was a part of my life since I was a small child. He will be missed for his wit, wisdom, and interesting perspectives on life!
Naoko and I extended our condolences to everyone in Ted's wonderful family.
He will be deeply missed.
Thinking of you all with such fond memories of your dad and entire family. My prayers and sympathy go out to you.
Dear Sekiguchi Family,
I know you all are very proud of everything that you father stood for and accomplished in life. I feel fortunate to have been a friend of the family for a long time and remember the good times I had when I came to your home to visit. I never had your father for an instructor while I was at the U of A but had several friends who did and they enjoyed your his humor and instruction ability. My parents would have attended the memorial service but left Monday morning for a trip to Panama. They have enjoyed knowing your parents over the years through school activities, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and the Ozark Society. Take care of your mother during this trying period for her and I hope to see you on my next trip to Fayetteville.
Sincerely,
Brian Noland
May you feel the love we send to you as we remember your dear Ted.
Although it's been many years since I've seen you all, I do think of each of you often ... Going to school with Mary, working at Ramada Inn with Naoto -- too many memories to list!
My thoughts and prayers are with each of you -- Mr. Sekiguchi was a wonderful man and admired by many, me included!
Hope each of you are doing well and holding up ok during these difficult times.

I had Dr. Sekiguchi for calculus when I was in college and it was a delight. He was a wonderful instructor and his enjoyment of mathematics was evident. I also knew the family (I'm Helmut Wolf's daughter) through the Ozark society and will have many happy memories.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

James and I were so sorry to hear of Dr. Sekiguchi's death last week. What a wonderful man and family. Betsy had him for calculus in 1976. Little did she know that this sweet man would turn out to be her future inlaws's dear
friend. Mrs. Sekiguchi and family, you have our sincere sympathy.
