William Brooks Clower Jr.

Janet, Anne, and Nancy, my heart hurts for you. I am so glad we were able to spend some time with you at the reunion this year, and will always remember Brooks' "Clower Handshake". We will be with him again some day in a place where there is no more sadness, heartache, pain nor death. My love and prayers for you. Jackie

We are so sorry to hear of your loss, we pray that God will comfort you and your family and give you peace that only he can give. I read about a place called heaven, its a place where there are no more tears and no more good byes. Its a place of great joy where the lamb is the light. May God give you and your family strength in this time of loss. You and your family will be in our prayers.

Mrs. Clower and Family: I was very sad and shocked to hear the news that Brooks had passed, especially so soon after his father. I am deeply saddened that Brooks has left us. He was a great friend to so many. We who grew up with Brooks will cherish forever the memories we made. Unfortunately, he has left us too early and we will rue the loss for years to come. My condolence goes out to his family. You have had a very difficult few weeks. Losing Brooks to our community, breaks my heart. He was a great guy. He and my brother, David Dial, along with Geroge Niblock, David Nelson, Reed Hudson and others used to pick on me a lot in high school, but I never doubted that it was with love. I wish I could be home to celebrate his life with my friends and family, but distance, and travel complications will not allow that this time. Just know that many people around the nation are with you and your family in this time of loss. As a fellow Methodist, the church has lost a great brother and the people of NWA are suffering a tragic loss also.

I am so sad to hear about Brooks. My fondest memories of growing-up go back to our college days, when Brooks and the rest of us would celebrate whatever occasion was convenient...the end of finals, a wedding, birth or just TGIF. Brooks never really needed a reason - he was a celebration of life himself. He accomplished so much, and touched so many lives in such a good way. I will miss him.

Janet, I am so sorry for your loss. I know that this is a very sad time for you. I pray that your faith, family and friends along with the kind hand of the Father strengthen you in the days ahead. May you find peace in special happy memories of times your family shared together.

My heart has broken twice this month, first for Mr. Bill..and now for Brooks. Words don't come that are even close to adequate to express my sorrow. Years and Miles take us through life, but those childhood memories are precious and treasured. I hold onto those lazy summer days when we were kids playing kickball on Hope Street, sledding down Kings Drive..it sure was sweet.
