Alvin Wesley Young, age 89, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday January 21, 2018. He was born June 25, 1928 in Lincoln, Arkansas to William and Zula McCarty Young. He retired from the US Navy. He taught metal shop at the Fayettevil Read Obituary
We are all deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Wesley's passing. I know the last few years had been extremely hard on him, so we take solace in the fact that he is at peace now in the hands of our Lord. Wesley was like a real brother to me and I loved him dearly. I have so many wonderful memories of our times together. He never let me forget that I was two months older than him. On my upcoming birthday in April I will miss having him call me to remind me how old I am.
