Rowena, I'm thinking and praying for you and your family at this time. Remember the good times -- like MCL in Indianapolis and smile. Things will get easier with time. Lots of love, Trisha

I was happy to help make calls to family friends for Rowena and Stanford, but I completed my task feeling honored and so appreciative to have heard so many nice sentiments and memories from the community of Rappaport friends and colleagues.
Chris Brothers advised Carole told it like it was and did not suffer fools, but was never cruel. Janet Gallman fondly recalled that anytime she had a recital, Carole was there to accompany her.
Linda Brothers would love to cook dinner for Rowena and Stanford when they are up to it.
I hope Rowena and Stanford are comforted by the many wonderful memories they must have.
Our best,
Joel Giarrusso and Malcolm Sharp
Rowena and Stan,
I was very sorry to hear of your mothers passing. You are lucky to have had such a caring and close relationship with your mom. I hope her memory is a comfort to you in your time of loss.
Stuart
Our deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother.
I am so sorry for your loss, and send heartfelt wishes of comfort and peace to Rowena and her brother.
I remember going to Rowena's house many times and we always had such a good time with her family. They are fond memories that I still cherish to this day. Mrs. Rappaport was a really generous woman, always welcomed the friends of Row and Stan and liked to spend time with us. I remember laughing a lot.
I will keep you all in my prayers.
Sherri
I remember Mrs. Rappaport coming in to see Rowena when R. worked at ROTC. She really enjoyed being around other people and I wish I had spent more time with her. Now that I am middle-aged, I see that being older doesn't make one stodgy and boring!
Mrs. R adored her children, and that is less common, I think, than is generally believed.
My schedule keeps me from attending the service, but my thoughts are with Stan and Rowena.
