David was my friend and classmate at Ada High and at First Baptist Church. After I moved away, David took care of the plumbing and air conditioning for my brother-in-law, Ronald Sharrah, until David's retirement. They became good friends. Ronnie always enjoyed talking or texting with David and Bettie. Knowing that Ronnie's income was limited, David always managed to find the least expensive ways to keep his plumbing working and charged less than the going rate. He was able by using every trick in the book to keep a central air conditioning unit about 50 years old operating rather than insisting it be replaced. David was a very good man - kind, friendly, generous and competent. He will certainly be missed by many!
