He was a fine man, an excellent jeweler, and it was an honor to work for him when Harrison was still a fun place to live.

To the family: I've known Gerald Markey since 1978, and he was an honest man, and a good friend. I met him in the jewelry store. When he gave up the business in Harrison, he was missed. He was someone I trusted. I know that words do little to ease your pain. Only time lessens that. Just know that I care, and am so sorry for your loss.
