James was one of my first patients as a nurse in December of 2011. It didn't take me long to fall in love with his quick whit and genuine soul. He was real. You got what you got and there was no sugar coating anything. Even when he was upset, he was still genuine and real. Nobody dreams of living in a nursing home, but James knew it was the best place for him. He always spoke highly of Troy and I know that he was thankful for Troy always looking out for his best interest. I use to sing to him everyday at work "Norton, Norton, he's our guy! " I'll miss him beyond measure and am eternally grateful that he was a part of my life. Rest in peace, Norton! I miss you already.
It was a pleasure taking care of Mr. Norton at Bradford House. He was a sweetheart! We miss him dearly!
