James Lewell Norton, 83, of Bentonville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019. He was born July 19, 1935 in Deer, Arkansas to Norval and Ethel Jane Smith Norton.
He proudly served in the United States Army.
He was a member of God’s Lighthouse in Bentonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Cleta Norton; his son, Jeff Norton and one brother, Jack Norton.
James is survived by one son, Troy Norton and wife, Rachel of Centerton, Ark; daughter-in-law, Brenda; six grandchildren, Sean Norton, Tiffany Norton, Emma Nation (Dylan), Katie Norton, Jocee Norton, Gracee Norton; four great grandchildren, Jolee Bryan, Mateo Salinas, Jaxton Norton, Jeffrey Norton and two brothers, Harold Norton and wife, Glenda, Rev. Leroy Norton and wife, Nada.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM, Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at God’s Lighthouse Church in Bentonville with Pastor Leroy Norton officiating. Burial will follow at Coffelt Cemetery with military honors provided.
Visitation will be from 9:30am until service time.
