Jan, Andy, & David, My heartfelt condolences and sympathy to each of you today as you have had the memorial service of your sweet mother, Jean. Just sharing a sweet memory of Aunt Jean driving by herself from Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Vidor, Texas, to be at our daughter's wedding August 2009, to basically help and fill in the gap of my mother (her sister) of which had passed away in 2005. It was a true blessing to have her share this special day with us. Just know that her life truly made a difference for so many people and she will be remembered by so many for a long time to come. All Our Love & Prayers!

Jan, Andy, and David. So sorry for your loss. I remember Andy and I making lunch at the Market house during "open lunch' at FHS and Andy and I would typically eat alot of Jeans food and more than likely make a mess...that Jean cleaned up. She was kind as all of you are. Godspeed to the Market clan.

Jan, Andy and David, So sorry for the loss of your Mom. I loved her very much. She would call me and we would talk for hours about life. She helped me to understand how to live apart from my daughter. Aunt Jean was so thoughtful. Every holiday, birthday there would be a card in the mail from her. It is sad for us left here but she is back with her husband, mom,dad and sister. May you find peace and comfort that she is now with our heavenly Father. Love all you, Carla Peppers

Jean and I shared a friendship of many years....when my husband died she and Don took me under their wings and and saw that I was not alone....and when Don passed on, Jean and I enjoyed WAC and St. Paul's every week until both of us were curtailed by failing health We tried to keep in touch after that by telephone and Email. It was a sorrow and a loss that neither of us could manage a visit but we did the best we could. Jean was a very dear friend and I shall miss her so much.
