To John's Family:
John was in my class and a fellow gradiate of SHS. As I remember John, he was quiet, gentle and smart. Reading about his life, I wish I'd known him as an adult. My sincere condolences go out to his family and loved ones.

Dearest Ann, It was with great sadness I read of John's passing. We haven't seen each other in years..but I have thought of you often. Our prayers for you and your family is that God will hold you in the palm of His mighty hand, guide you and give your peace. Randy also sends his love to you and your family. Big John was a great man and will be greatly missed.

The last time I saw John he was visiting his sweet mother. I live on church street, by his niece and was neighbors with his mother Helen. My daughter Amanda who was great friends with Buddy John now lives in Fayetteville. I had planned to contact John on one of my trips. I wish I had done it sooner. A big salute to a good man.

I haven't communicated with John in many years. We were buddies in high school at Stamps and played many games of "horse" and other basketball games. I remember him as a very fine fellow and wish that we could have visited together more often.
