Carole Whiteside, 77 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at her home. She was born September 1, 1934 in Haskell, OK to Hoy Jean Dowdy and Leta (Sandefur) Dowdy. She was a homemaker and a member of University Read Obituary

Although it has been several years since we have crossed paths, our hearts go out in fondness for Carole and your family. Carole always had such a great smile and fun way about her. So sorry for your great loss.
Dear Whiteside Family:
Though many years and distance have passed between us, I just want you to know how sad I am to hear about Mrs. Whiteside's death. I remember those swim and slumber parties we had at your house, and will always admire the way that I was welcomed by the whole family, but especially Mrs. Whiteside. They don't make them like her anymore. She will be well remembered and sorely missed. My love to each and every one of you.
I am praying for all of you. Carole was a dear, sweet lady and she will be missed. She is praising our Saviour face to face. (I am Lou Alice Watson's sister).

dear ed (papa-side)...how my heart hurts for you with the loss of carole (my own dear sweet mama-side). you'll remember sidlow saying that when he got to heaven he'd spend the 1st million years gazing at the savior...and then perhaps he'd take a look around. well, carole's got a head start on us and she's loving every second of it. i love you, ed.
