A. Hunter Long, 71 of Springdale, died Thursday, March 11, 2010 in Springdale. He was born December 18, 1938 in Charleston, West Virginia to Rosser and Laura Burrow Long. He was an global insurance executive.
He is survived by his wife, Julie K. Long of the home, two sons, Robert Hunter Long and partner JaNan of Little Rock and John Armistead Long and wife Kara of Fayetteville, one sister, Beth Long Hayes and husband Jonathan of Westport, CT, two grandsons, Graves Long and Luke Elliot Long of Fayetteville, one granddaughter, Caroline Long of Fayetteville, a nephew, Christopher Hayes of Redwood City, CA, one niece Tory Hayes Grigg of Jupiter, FL, and his former spouse, Ginanne G. Long of Little Rock.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM, Monday March 15, 2010 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
Immediately following the memorial service a reception will follow at Soul Restaurant & Lounge 3878 North Crossover Road in Fayetteville.
