Aaron Mathew Elioza's Obituary
Aaron Mathew Elioza, age 9, passed away on February 16, 2021. He was born on April 27, 2011, in Anaheim, CA.
Aaron was happy and energetic, and his big smile lit up every room he walked into. He spent his days goofing around with his best friend, his sister Ivette. He was fiercely protective of her and his baby brother Isaac. He loved video games, especially Minecraft, and spent much of his time outdoors. Aaron knew every word to the song “Senorita” and would dance and belt it out with his sister every time it was played. He also loved wrestling. He was observant, soaking in everything around him. School was tough, but he worked incredibly hard and was adored by his teachers and the entire staff.
Aaron’s life was not always easy, but his heart remained soft. Every family member, foster family and service provider that knew him was blessed because they did. He was a strong example of facing adversity with stride, love and even joy – We can all learn from him. He will be incredibly missed.
Aaron is survived by his 8-year-old sister Ivette Elioza; his baby brother Isaac Acevedo; his Aunt Leslie Aguierre; his Cousins Ashley, Christopher and Sebastian Montes; his Grandmother Olivia Trejo; his foster families and a host of service workers, CASA advocates, teachers, principals, therapists and coaches who poured into him.
“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.’” Matthew 19:14
Please join us in celebrating Aaron’s life at a graveside service held at 10:00am on Monday, February 22, 2021, at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale.
